...if i don't even believe in hell.
mazzy star on monday mornings inside a chill coffee shop - it's a nice way to close my time in brooklyn. tomorrow morning i'm off to philly for a couple of days - then a nice breezy road trip to california - and by this time next week HOME!
who's ready for it?!
new york has ceased to be a sight-seeing venture for me. that ended years ago. one may describe it as a "live there" situation, as i consider brooklyn close enough to call my second home. if could relocate my professional networks and the closests of my friends and loved ones here - i'd sink my roots right into park slope.
weather be damned, aside from the above mentioned, ny is one of my favorite places to be. i'm a lover of progressive action, movement, multitasking and creative environs - and with every visit i find myself knee deep in these aspects and realizing the utter difficulty of leaving it all behind for patience and conservative style.
ah well. i'll be back. there is still more to be accomplished with the family houses. we'll be selling one, and reviving another. bright sides and silver linings, i get my mom back in California after all this is over, and i'll have a kick ass place to bring my friends on my inevitable future trips to ny.
in the meantime i'm PACKING! consolidating makeup kits and clothes, gifts and randomness to consume the smallest amount of space for the road trip. - that's hatin it. my must have at arms reach: my camera and iflip for documenting what will absolutely be cherished cross country shennanigans.
and that's that.

amazingly, i too was having a mazzy morning, so i'd have to say that the distance between us is still nothing but a moment and a mile. can't wait til you're back, i got some love spilling out my pockets that I think you know what to do with. :)
